Loan Hoang-Sayag

Loan Hoang-Sayag, MD graduated from Pierre and Marie Curie University of Paris VI, with board certifications in Hematology (1995) and Medical Oncology (1998). She also obtained an MSc (DEA) in microbiology in 1994 and graduated from ESSEC Business School in 2021.
Loan began her career in the adult hematology department of the Necker hospital in Paris before joining the bone marrow transplantation unit of the Institut Gustave Roussy in Villejuif. She joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2000, first at Roche, then at Pierre Fabre where she worked on the development of new molecules in the fields of oncology and hematology. She then led the Oncology-Hematology medical team for Europe and Latin America at Quintiles. From 2016 to 2018, she was Chief Medical Officer for Cellectis and for Median Technologies.
Since 2018, Loan Hoang-Sayag has been a Venture Partner on the Life Sciences team of Andera Partners, a European venture capital fund investing in innovative companies in the health sector.
