Fabrice Chouraqui

Fabrice is CEO-Partner at Flagship Pioneering, a Boston-based biotech investment fund. He also serves as CEO of Cellarity, a Flagship Pioneering company, operating at the confluence of biology, genomic sequencing and artificial intelligence to develop treatments related to cellular dysfunction.
Previously, Fabrice worked at Novartis for ten years holding several senior leadership positions. In particular, he was President of Novartis Pharmaceuticals in the USA from 2016 to 2020.
Fabrice began his career in R&D at Roussel Uclaf and Hoechst Marion Roussel, pharma companies that were predecessors to today’s Sanofi. He then joined Bristol-Myers Squibb where he held different management positions in Europe and Asia.  Fabrice earned his MBA from INSEAD and a Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD), a Post-Graduate Degree in Quality Management and a M.Sc. in Biological and Medicinal Sciences from the University of Paris V.
