Thomas Schönberg

Thomas Schönberg is an experienced leader in global regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry who joined Orano Med in 2024 as the Head of Regulatory Affairs. Bringing his expertise of the drug lifecycle across multiple therapeutic areas, he leads the company’s global regulatory strategy and oversees interactions with health authorities throughout the development phases of the company’s pipeline. 

Before joining Orano Med, he held positions of increasing responsibility in regulatory affairs at Sanofi where he led the registration of several medicines and a global team of regulatory professionals. He also worked several years in Boston, interacting directly with the US FDA. In addition to his role at Orano Med, Thomas gives a lecture on US regulatory affairs at the Montpellier University of Pharmacy.

Thomas Schönberg graduated with a Dipl. Ing. in Biochemistry from University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC - France) and an MSc in Toxicology from Cranfield University (UK).
